David J. Eshelman, SRA

Son of the company founder, Darwin K. Eshelman, SRPA. Grew up in Del Mar, graduated from La Jolla High School in 1976 and from Arizona State University in 1980. Appraiser trainee for Real Estate Science Corp. in Phoenix during the summer of 1979 and began appraising with Eshelman Appraisals in the fall of 1980.

Achieved the SRA designation in 1991. Became company president in 1993. Awarded the AI-RSS designation in 2019.

Remains active in the production of appraisals, appraisal review, consultation and litigation services. Specializes in complex assignments throughout the county.

Eshelman Appraisals, Inc. has access to a group of vetted independent contractor appraisers and a support group that can handle assignments with a volume of properties. However with specific areas of expertise, we can also provide "local knowledge" for all of the cities and communities throughout San Diego County. With over 200 years of combined experience, four SRA designated appraisers, and an AI-RSS designated reviewer, we can handle most complex valuation assignments.

All of the appraisers are Certified by the State of California as expert appraisers for all residential properties up to 4 units and we are all insured
